Haplin started throughout his four seasons at Western Kentucky, including a 2014 season cut short by injuries. Over the past two years, Halpin has been on the Remington Award watch list for the nation’s top center.
Halpin’s draft-stock rise is in part due to his strong senior season with the Hilltoppers. Pro Football Focus notes that Halpin allowed 23 pressures in 2015 but only nine in 2016.
