Both Tom Brady and Russell Wilson have donated $10k each on Hamlin’s GoFundMe page. Apart from Wilson and Brady, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has also donated $15k. The Washington Commanders have also donated $5k but fans on social media trolled them for it.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is the second-highest donor as he has chipped in with $18,003k. A donation from ‘Carpet Man Flooring’ also equaled $5k, a similar amount to the Washington Commanders, and as a result, the fans took digs at the troubled franchise.

Here’s how social media reacted to it:

The Washington Commanders have faced a lot of heat over the years for being cheap and the fans thought they were doing the same thing here as well. The franchise is up for sale and perhaps the new owner will be able to change the public’s perception of Washington. Until then, the Commanders are likely to face more of the same kind of criticism.
