Jones-Drew, whom the Jacksonville Jaguars chose not to re-sign, had previously visited the Pittsburgh Steelers but didn't get a offer from them. The Raiders re-signed Darren McFadden for their backfield, but they decided to let former Jaguars running back Rashad Jennings leave for the New York Giants. Both Jones-Drew and McFadden have been banged up and slowed down, but now they'll form the new committee in Oakland.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, have moved on with former Minnesota Vikings backup Toby Gerhart as their new workhorse.

Jones-Drew, 29, struggled in 2013 after his 2012 season was marred by a foot injury. He averaged only 3.4 yards per carry with 803 total rushing yards and five touchdowns last year.
