League security is investigating Steelers tight end coach James Daniel “for allegedly assaulting and verbally accosting a Patriots fan on the way to the locker room before halftime,” according to ESPN.

The incident occurred when Daniel was on his way to Pittsburgh’s locker room for halftime, according to the report. He allegedly kicked a New England fan in the back of the leg and yelled at the fan.
When he came out for the second half, Daniel shouted at a police officer who had confronted him about the incident, according to the report.
The Patriots were leading the Steelers 14-3 at halftime.
