Buffalo (7-3) stayed in Detroit after beating the Browns in Week 11 in a game that was relocated because of snow. The Bills are heavy favorites around MVP candidate Josh Allen, but these might not be the same-old Lions. Detroit (4-6) is on a rare three-game winning streak, and second-year coach Dan Campbell might have a turn-around in the making after all. The Giants (7-3) and Cowboys (7-3) are both two games back of NFC East division leader Philadelphia (9-1), so their rivalry matchup carries on a little more importance this time....

Dallas’ Andy Dalton also will be making his first start with his new team on “Monday Night Football” against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals. Five divisional games, however, have our attention. The Titans-Texans matchup is interesting with Tennessee coming off a short week. The Eagles unleashed two new offensive toys for the hometown fans Friday night, with quarterback Sam Bradford and running back DeMarco Murray making their Eagles debut. Murray and new backfield mate Ryan Mathews both scored touchdowns, while Bradford completed three of his five passes on his one possession to help set the stage for the Eagles’ 40-17 win over the Ravens. Honorable mention Evan Mathis, G (No. 79 overall, 2005): The 12-year NFL veteran was selected to the Pro Bowl twice and was named an All-Pro in 2013. He became a Super Bowl champion in the 2015 season with the Broncos. Brian Westbrook, RB (No. 91 overall, 2002): Westbrook rushed for 6,335 yards and 41 touchdowns with the Eagles and 49ers....

The NFL insists it is taking Pryor’s accusation very seriously — and that is refreshing, and unsurprising. This league, like Major League Baseball earlier this year in the Adam Jones-Fenway Park incident, handles its business with the obvious, blatant stuff. “The reality is, he’s going to get suspended,” Mayfield said after his Browns defeated their rival from Pittsburgh 21-7. “We don’t know how long, and that hurts our team. We can’t do that. We can’t continue to hurt this team. It’s inexcusable.” The corresponding punishment should be taking Garrett, the team’s top defensive player, off the field for the remainder of the 2019 NFL season. It would be a harsh reaction, but perhaps it’s what’s needed for the Browns’ players to finally learn from their actions....
