Stafford is reportedly dealing with a unique elbow issue that is forcing the Rams to manage his workload during training camp. UPDATE: The NFL Referee Association announced Friday afternoon that it plans to file a grievance on behalf of Ellison. Williams this week denied saying the n-word. It may be the easiest path to take, but too often, teams progress or regress rapidly at the NFL level. Plus, using strength of schedule from the previous season doesn’t take into account any personnel changes that teams have made. Because of those factors, this method isn’t necessarily the best way to research strength of schedule....

Speaking of thankful, for once it doesn’t include a Lions team that’s stumbling along with just one or two wins, or with a coach with his head on the chopping block like a holiday turkey. Or both.
